Students complete all of their theory online and access virtual online labs prior to their in-person labs. Once the student completes their online theory, labs and practicum prerequisites, they will proceed onto their 15 consecutive weeks of practicum. Students will be placed with their preceptor in a long term care facility in their community to obtain a minimum of 450 hours of clinical experience.
Once the new graduate obtains their PSW Nurse Diploma, they will be qualified to work in all settings that employ PSW Nurses.
